Pilot plant for health care and beauty care companies

The ASPRO PILOT PP is an innovative pilot plant design made to suit to the research and development requirement of the health care and beauty products.

Research and Development becomes a vital part of any successful industry. The pilot plant is an effective tool for the product development. ASPRO PILOT is proven to be a user-friendly companion for the research scientist to develop their product through the accurate results. During scale up for regular production there would not be any struggles, as the pilot plant is developed to be a standard replica of the larger vessels.

The ASPRO PILOT PP model is used for the development of creams, lotions, gels, ointments, tooth paste, shampoo, hair dye, medical products, soaps and food products also.

The pilot plant comprises of a main vacuum-mixing vessel with an inline homogeniser and recirculation system. The stirrers would be of semi contra rotary type, Becomix type, semi contra rotary type etc.

Different options are provided so that the scientist can have a range of permutation and combination of stirrers to suit to the product requirement.

Apart from the main mixing set up there would be two side vessels for oil phase and water phase mixing.

The vessels are provided with suitable jackets and duly insulated as per the customer requirement.

The material of construction would be of SS 316/304 as per the customer requirement.

The plant is compatible for cGMP requirements.

All the above vessels would be mounted on a ergonomically designed platform table which would be convenient enough for the scientist to see the process.

The product transfer lines would be internally electro polished with SMS unions and fittings.

The system is supported with a suitable electrical panel with digital indicators for the temperature of the products and jackets and rpm measurement of the stirrers. The speed of the stirrer can be varied through suitable variable speed drives. The calibrated digital indicator will depict the rpm online.

The capacity of the vessels are provided in the following ranges 5 kgs,25 kgs,50 kgs and 100 kgs.

The pilot plant may be used for regular production also for smaller batch quantities.
